Kelly Brown Douglas, canon theologian of the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., explores this question by comparing Jesus' death to that of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teenager killed on his way home from buying Skittles and ice tea by a neighbor who read Trayvon as a threat.
